Kalma Care and Tagaytay Medical Center Formalize Hospital Partnership
MOA signing marks a step toward building healthcare partnerships for Kalma Villas Filipino Heritage Retirement Living community in Silang, Cavite.
MAKATI CITY, Philippines — Kalma Care Inc. and Tagaytay Medical Center Inc. (TMC) of the Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc. network, formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed in conjunction with the VIth Group Decade Gala at Makati Shangri-La on October 10, 2026.
The partnership lays the groundwork for Kalma Villas’ future residents to benefit from priority access to hospital services at Tagaytay Medical Center, reinforcing Kalma Care’s commitment to building a retirement living experience where well-being and healthcare are integral to life.
Signing on behalf of Kalma Care Inc. was Architect Kaydee Velasco, Founder and CEO, while Mr. Renato T. Castañeda, President, and Ms. Maria Paz B. Tabarina, Finance Director, represented Tagaytay Medical Center Inc., under the Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc. regional leadership of Mr. Jose Ronaldo H. Delos Santos.
The signing was witnessed by Kalma Care Inc. Board of Directors members Dr. Miguel Ramos Jr., Atty. Christine Base, Terence Jabatan, and Ms. Krista Mae Velasco, along with Ms. Lerrie M. Peñalba, Administrative Officer of Tagaytay Medical Center Inc.

The agreement forms part of Kalma Care’s continuing efforts to establish relationships with healthcare institutions as it develops Kalma Villas Filipino Heritage Retirement Living community in Silang, Cavite, with an anticipated opening in 2027.

The MOA signing took place during the VIth Group Decade Gala, themed “A Decade of Building a Future of Impact.” The celebration brought together the group’s companies to mark their respective milestones: the 10th anniversary of KMV Development Corporation, the 9th anniversary of Fujikonstruct, and the first anniversaries of Kalma Care and Folk & Feast Land.
