What is the Philippine Geriatric Center? Dr. Mike Ramos Explains Its Benefits for Filipino Seniors.

We’re proud to share that Dr. Mike Ramos, a respected leader in geriatric medicine and currently serving as OIC-Chairman of the Department of Geriatric Medicine at the National Center for Geriatric Health (NCGH) of Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, will be featured in an upcoming interview discussing the future of elderly healthcare in the Philippines.

Dr. Ramos will join the program “Golden Heart: Puso para sa Seniors” on Radyo Magasin 1278 AM, hosted by the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC), in celebration of Grandparents’ Week.

During the interview, he will talk about the proposed Philippine Geriatric Center Act (Senate Bill No. 1509) and how this initiative aims to strengthen specialized healthcare services for Filipino senior citizens.

The discussion highlights the growing importance of dedicated medical systems and care environments designed specifically for the elderly as the Philippines prepares for an aging population.
